Supporting Young Talents
Our company contributed 500 euros to purchase musical instruments for the Nazarje Music School, which enriched the 16th edition of BUMfest, the only Slovenian international percussion festival.
BUMfest, held over three days, featured five groups from three different countries and presented six unforgettable concerts. The festival attracted both percussion music enthusiasts and families, offering two matinees, two evening concerts, and a special family concert.
On Friday, the festival was inaugurated by Peter Poles, who, along with percussionists, captivated the audience with his humorous performance. On the festival's first day, the Austrian group Louie's Cage Percussion performed two matinees and thrilled the audience with their percussion theatre. The opening act featured a percussion ensemble from the Nazarje Music School.
On the second evening, the Portuguese group Simantra took the stage and enchanted listeners' ears with exceptional percussion music. That evening, the young Slovenian opening act from Novo mesto, MuvaRuvaGruva, delighted the audience. On the festival's final day, Sunday, SToP, the Slovenian Percussion Project, took the stage and entertained families with their playful program.
In addition to the concerts, Saturday workshops were an integral part of the festival experience, with a surprisingly large number of attendees of all ages participating. The evening traditionally concluded with a percussion circle before the evening concert, led by Franci Krevh.
Our company's donation to the Nazarje Music School facilitated the purchase of new musical instruments, helping the school continue to educate and inspire young musicians. We are proud to have contributed to the success of this unique festival and assisted in preserving the tradition of percussion music in Slovenia.
