From Ironman to Ljubljana Marathon: Silco in a Sporting Rhythm
Our colleagues took on demanding sporting challenges – from the Ironman in Poreč to the Ljubljana Marathon – once again proving that determination and team spirit can conquer any distance.
We had an inspiring sports weekend full of energy, determination and great achievements. Our Managing Director Sašo Kronovšek successfully completed the demanding Plava Laguna IRONMAN 70.3 Poreč in Croatia. With strong determination, dedication and a positive spirit, he showed that with the right mindset and a smile, even the biggest challenges can be achieved.
At the same time, the Silco team was also running at the Ljubljana Marathon 2025, where our colleagues competed at different distances and all successfully crossed the finish line.
In the 10 km race, Simona Grenko and Maša Škotnik participated, while Niko Majer, Črt Skornšek, Gašper Drame, Miran Pirec and Andrej Oblak ran the 21 km half marathon. The 42 km marathon distance was completed by Boštjan Gomboc and Ivan Ukman.
For some of them, this was their very first marathon, making the achievement even more special. Together, they proved that sport connects people, strengthens team spirit and inspires new challenges.
We are proud of our Ironman and all the runners from the Silco team. Here’s to new challenges, strong legs and even stronger hearts.
