Professional highlights in Maribor

The main conference day, October 23, presented a unique mix of topics covering car refinish, artificial intelligence, distribution, and talent development. The event was opened by Sašo Kronovšek, M.Sc., Managing Director, Silco, followed by presentations on Silco’s 2025 portfolio (Matjaž Ravnjak, PhD, Research & Development, Silco) and industry trends (Nikos Georgiou, Sales Director, Silco).

Interactive panels provided further insights:

• Distribution challenges and best practices, moderated by Boštjan Gomboc, Head of Export Sales Office, Silco, with international panelists from USA, Sweden, and Romania,
• Talent retention, led by Tea Kozar, Head of HR, Silco, supported by guests from UK and Denmark. Tea also gave her own keynote on the importance of education, soft skills, and connecting head and heart in leadership.

Digital experts and an Olympic champion on stage

The digital marketing session featured Roman Krušič, Damjan Blagojević, and Peter Mesarec, who engaged the audience with practical insights on digital channels, personal branding, and the use of AI in everyday business. Their talks were concrete, inspiring, and full of energy.

The highlight of the day was the motivational keynote by Urška Žolnir Jugovar, Olympic gold medalist, who captivated the audience with her stories of discipline, perseverance, and the parallels between sports and business leadership.

Networking and energy

Beyond the conference room, the Summit provided time for relaxation and connection – from a wine experience and evening event in the city of Maribor to the »Energy Day« on Pohorje, where partners enjoyed hiking and networking in nature.
