Each year, we allocate close to a hundred thousand euros for educational purposes at various levels. People development is a priority, as knowledge is at the center of our culture. Sašo, what does Silco aim to provide to employees and partners with an educational institution like SILCO Academy?
»Our mission is to develop people – both our employees and our partners – in order to produce innovative technological solutions for automotive paint repair and to set new standards in auto body painting. Primarily, we offer opportunities for professional development, most of which we channel towards exploration, thereby advancing the auto body painting profession. In our laboratory, our scientists formulate ideas, often inspired by the creative thinking of our team of employees. We emphasize personal development and growth in our employees. We strive for sustainability, in all aspects. Knowledge inherently fosters sustainability. When you invest in yourself, you also contribute to the long-term development of the community.«
What do you see as Silco's greatest value?
»I see the greatest value in knowledge and in people. This year, we stated to imeplement dedicated personal and business development programs for managers. Consequently, these initiatives have already begun to influence the change in organizational culture, strengthening connections, increasing productivity, and fostering the development of all employees. We have also revamped and outlined technological training, educational modules, and demonstrations. Currently, we are finalizing a significant investment in education, quality, and development, totaling 130 thousand euros. This investment is directed towards the construction of a new training center, equipped with a demonstration area and a lecture hall. Simultaneously, we have expanded our facilities and acquired additional equipment for quality testing and research. As a result, our employees and partners now enjoy significantly enhanced conditions for both imparting and acquiring knowledge. The synergy between knowledge and people is pivotal and can create the most substantial impact in the auto body painting industry. Silco serves as a crucial driving force, operating at both the domestic and global levels.«

This becomes evident when you stand still and do nothing to improve. Continuous movement and striving to become better are imperative.«
